Basketball Recap: Richland Comes Up Short

Richland lost against Denton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Richland Royals lost 73-47 to the Denton Broncos. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Sheats was his usual excellent self, putting up 29 points for Denton. Sheats continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brown, who posted 12 points.

Richland now has a losing record at 16-17. As for Denton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-14.

As of now, neither Richland nor Denton have any future games scheduled.
