Basketball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They lost 69-49 to the Strasburg Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-26 back in January.

Stonewall Jackson's record is now 1-19. As for Strasburg, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stonewall Jackson will challenge Central Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Strasburg, they will take on Page County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Page County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Strasburg likes a good challenge.
