Basketball Recap: Mary Walker Takes a Loss

Mary Walker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors, falling 56-7. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-8 two weeks ago.

Mary Walker's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they moved to 9-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Mary Walker will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
