Soccer Recap: Massac County Takes a Loss

Massac County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Harrisburg Bulldogs. Massac County were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrisburg apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Massac County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Harrisburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Massac County will square off against Pinckneyville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisburg will be up against Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
