Back of the Yards College Prep not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 5, 2024 (when they won 32-8). They blew past the Chicago Washington Patriots 28-8. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 26-12 loss the last time these two teams met.

Marko Franco had a dynamite game, rushing for 185 yards and two scores.

Back of the Yards College Prep's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Chicago Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Back of the Yards College Prep will challenge rival Gage Park at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chicago Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy at 3:30 p.m. on the 27th.
