Paulding County came into Thursday's matchup having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Hiram Hornets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since September 4th.

Paulding County was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 20-25, 18-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Paulding County's victory bumped their record up to 11-24. As for Hiram, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-23 record this season.
