Baseball Recap: Chickasha Comes Up Short

Chickasha has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.28 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Tuttle Tigers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Fighting Chicks were not able to get on the board.

Chickasha's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-4. As for Tuttle, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

While Chickasha had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
