Volleyball Recap: Sagemont Prep Extends Winning Streak to Two

Sagemont Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Edison Private Eagles on the board on Thursday, marking the Lions' second-straight 3-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Adriana Powers-Hadley paced Sagemont Prep's offense, picking up 13 kills. Powers-Hadley got some help from Daniella Seijo and her 22 assists. Amanda Chin controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The win made it two in a row for Sagemont Prep and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Edison Private, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Sagemont Prep has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Cushman on the 17th. Edison Private does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
