Football Recap: Redding Christian Starts Season with Victory Against Durham + How To Watch

Redding Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Durham Trojans to the tune of 40-0. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 40-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Wyatt Shaw was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 164 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Micah Skinner was Shaw's top target, picking up 27 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Coming up, Redding Christian will head out to take on Biggs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Durham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
