            The Pelham Pythons are taking a road trip to  square off against the Sanborn Regional Indians  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pelham has three straight  victories, Sanborn Regional has 22 straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Pelham is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past ConVal 9-3 on Tuesday.

 Jake Davidson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits. Pelham is 4-1 when  Davidson allows two or  fewer  earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.
 At the plate, Pelham got a  massive  performance out of  Zach Dutton, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. Dutton also put up a  run, which was his first of the season.  Tyler Carvello was another key player,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Sanborn Regional's offense. They lost  11-0 to Kingswood on Monday.
 Sanborn Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pelham, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
 Everything went Pelham's way against Sanborn Regional when the teams last played  back in May of 2024, as Pelham made off with  a  10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pythons since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
