Toppenish proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 44) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ellensburg Bulldogs 27-25. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tegan Hernandez went supernova, rushing for 130 yards on only six carries.

Hernandez was just one part of a punishing run game: Toppenish was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
