Soccer Recap: St. Helens Takes a Loss

St. Helens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Tillamook Cheesemakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tillamook this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in September.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tillamook, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Helens will square off against rival Scappoose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tillamook is set to face off against their familiar foe Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
