Soccer Recap: Harrison Central Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Harrison Central's offense. They lost 4-0 to the George County Rebels on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Red Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Rebels are ranked 23rd).

Harrison Central has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season. As for George County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Harrison Central will square off against Ocean Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George County, they will take on Pascagoula at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. George County knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Pascagoula likes a good challenge.
