The Prairie View Academy Spartans will square off against the Ben's Ford Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairie View Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Prairie View Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: Briarfield Academy, who was ranked sixth at the time (Prairie View Academy was ranked third). The Spartans slipped by the Rebels 49-48 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Spartans' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

A big part of Prairie View Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Hayden Little and his top target Nathan Stokes. Little threw for 104 yards and three touchdowns while Stokes rushed for 137 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Those 137 rushing yards gave Stokes a new career-high.
Prairie View Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 333 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Prairie View Academy's defensive line and their eight sacks. Leading the way was Noah Lopez with four.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ben's Ford Christian). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-14 win over Heritage Christian Academy. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.
Ben's Ford Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaiden Keating and Steven Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux also defended three defended passes, which is notable because Ben's Ford Christian is 2-1 when he posts at least three defended passes, but 1-2 otherwise. Thibodeaux got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The victory got Ben's Ford Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Prairie View Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Prairie View Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 234.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ben's Ford Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 261.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
