Russell County never let their opponents score on Monday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 victory over the Charles Henderson Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.

Russell County found their leader in freshman Kora Perry, who threw for 200 yards and four TDs on only 15 passes.

Russell County's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Star'Raye Leverson and Kennedy Ellison, who racked up four sacks between them. McKenzie Word got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win got Russell County back to even at 8-8. As for Charles Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Russell County will be playing at home against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Charles Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
