Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Hillsborough's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Hillsborough unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 55-46 to the Gill St. Bernard's Knights . The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Hillsborough saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaron Feath posted ten points. Lucas Rollan was another key player, putting up seven points.

Hillsborough's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Gill St. Bernard's, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsborough will head out to face off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they will venture away from home to challenge Rutgers Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
