Basketball Game Preview: Monroe Central Seminoles vs. Buckeye Trail Warriors

The Monroe Central Seminoles will face off against the Buckeye Trail Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Monroe Central took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Shenandoah by a score of 44-37.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Trail didn't have too much breathing room in their game against East Canton on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 39-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Monroe Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Buckeye Trail, they are also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Monroe Central was able to grind out a solid win over Buckeye Trail in their previous matchup back in November of 2015, winning 40-27. Will Monroe Central repeat their success, or does Buckeye Trail have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
