Football Recap: Spring Creek Falls to Union in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Spring Creek kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Union Spartans. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Union found their leader in freshman Marquavion Melvin, who picked up three sacks and made seven total tackles. Tobias Cromartie showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.

Looking ahead, Spring Creek will face off against Southern Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bear Grass Charter at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
