Soccer Recap: Port Allegany Takes a Loss

Port Allegany was the 2-0 winner over Elk County Catholic when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators came up short against the Crusaders on Wednesday, falling 5-1. Port Allegany have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Allegany's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Elk County Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3-1.

Looking ahead, Port Allegany will venture away from home to challenge Brookville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Port Allegany will be up against Brookville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Elk County Catholic, they will be playing at home against Brockway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
