Volleyball Recap: Devahney Belville and Danika Janssen Secure Win for Valentine

Valentine hadn't done well against Gordon-Rushville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Valentine walked away with a 2-0 victory over Gordon-Rushville. For Valentine, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win Gordon-Rushville walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Valentine was led to victory by Danika Janssen and Devahney Belville. Janssen had five aces and four digs, while Belville had four digs and two blocks. Belville is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Valentine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
