Jack Kinavy-Roesberry made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kinavy-Roesberry was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. He has become a key player for Asheville T: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-6 otherwise.
In other batting news, Gage Flowers was a standout: he scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Corin Davis, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Asheville T kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.
Asheville T's record is now 4-6. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Thursday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bethel Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. However, it's not like Asheville T struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
