            The Oakville Acorns will venture away from home to  challenge the Wahkiakum Mules  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Oakville has given up an average of 7.4  runs per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Oakville is headed into Friday's   matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Tuesday. They lost  16-6 to Ocosta.

  Koner Burnett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dre Kluth, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Wahkiakum's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell  7-2 to Naselle.
 Wahkiakum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Preston West, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.  Zane Propst also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 Wahkiakum suffered their first road  defeat, dropping their record down to 7-2. As for Oakville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oakville has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 5.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Wahkiakum struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.7  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Oakville came up short against Wahkiakum in their previous meeting  last Monday, falling  12-8. Can the Acorns avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
