Football Game Preview: Miami Stingarees vs. West Broward Bobcats

The Miami Stingarees will challenge the West Broward Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Miami fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Lake Minneola last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 19-18 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Stingarees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Hawks are ranked 120th).

Meanwhile, West Broward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by Piper 38-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Miami and nudges their season record down to 2-10. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 points. As for West Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
