Sauk Rapids-Rice entered their tilt with Sartell-St. Stephen on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Sabres with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

One reason for the win was Sauk Rapids-Rice's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-16.

Josie Anderson paced Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense, picking up 13 kills. Anderson got some help from Aubrey Marketon and her 21 assists. Abbey Meinert controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sauk Rapids-Rice's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sauk Rapids-Rice will face off against Elk River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will take on Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
