Basketball Recap: Laconia Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Laconia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Hanover Bears 58-26 on Tuesday. The Sachems have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.

Laconia pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points over those games. As for Hanover, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Laconia will face off against Hollis-Brookline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanover, they will welcome Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lebanon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hanover surely won't give up without a fight.
