Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Kathleen Red Devils an easy 8-0 win. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in December of 2018.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Kathleen, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1.

Liberty will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Poinciana at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Kathleen, they will be home for the holidays to greet Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Robinson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
