Soccer Game Preview: Spencerville vs. Calvary Christian + How To Watch

The Spencerville Bearcats will square off against the Calvary Christian Spartans at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Spencerville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Spencerville's offense. They came up short against Fort Jennings on Monday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian kept a clean sheet against Fairlawn on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Jets with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Calvary Christian, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Fairlawn from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Trent Comer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win got Calvary Christian back to even at 6-6-1. As for Spencerville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9-2.
