Volleyball Recap: Powell County Comes Up Short

Powell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lexington Christian Eagles.

Powell County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lexington Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Powell County has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Fleming County on the 27th. As for Lexington Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bishop Brossart on the 27th.
