East won the last time they faced Laramie and things went their way on Thursday too. The East Thunderbirds claimed a resounding 63-30 victory over the Laramie Plainsmen. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Laramie's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stacy Ruggles, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave Ruggles a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%).

East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points over those games. As for Laramie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East beat Laramie by a score of 63-30 on Friday.
