Basketball Game Preview: Corona del Mar Sea Kings vs. Newport Harbor Sailors

The Corona del Mar Sea Kings will face off against the Newport Harbor Sailors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corona del Mar knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Newport Harbor likes a good challenge.

On Saturday, Corona del Mar was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to Edison. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (58), the Sea Kings still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Newport Harbor sidestepped Edison for a 60-57 victory.

Corona del Mar has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season. As for Newport Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

Corona del Mar was able to grind out a solid victory over Newport Harbor when the teams last played back in January, winning 60-51. Does Corona del Mar have another victory up their sleeve, or will Newport Harbor turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
