Football Recap: St. Stephens Comes Up Short

After flying high against Alexander Central last Friday, St. Stephens came back down to earth. The Indians fell 28-21 to the Freedom Patriots on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

St. Stephens now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Freedom, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Stephens is set to challenge their familiar foe McDowell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Freedom will take on rival South Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
