Basketball Recap: Koshkonong Comes Up Short

Koshkonong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Bakersfield Lions 77-36. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Lions are ranked 224th).

Koshkonong's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Bakersfield, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Koshkonong won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Naylor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bakersfield, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Van Buren at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
