Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Chargers vs. Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles

The Victory Christian Academy Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Victory Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 53-12 win over Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Victory Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Charlotte Buettner, who posted 21 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Buettner has scored at least a third of Victory Christian Academy's points. Albrey Jett was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Eagle Ridge Christian hadn't done well against Liberty Christian Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way two weeks ago. Eagle Ridge Christian put the hurt on Liberty Christian Academy with a sharp 40-19 win.

Eagle Ridge Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
