Volleyball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer lost against Clinton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redwolves. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Clinton, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Homer will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Clinton, they will host Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Redwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
