Basketball Recap: Logan Severson Key Part of a Team Effort in Wildcats Win

There's no place like home for Brea Olinda, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past the Pacifica Mariners with a 54-49 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-40 back in January.

Brea Olinda's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Severson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Severson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Ford, who dropped a double-double on 11 boards and ten blocks.

Brea Olinda's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-14. As for Pacifica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-11.

As of now, neither Brea Olinda nor Pacifica have any future games scheduled.
