Marissa/Coulterville has gone 9-1 against Lebanon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Marissa/Coulterville Meteors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lebanon Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Marissa/Coulterville and five for Lebanon.

On Wednesday, Marissa/Coulterville lost to New Athens on the road by a 69-54 margin.

Meanwhile, Lebanon played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Okawville 85-52.

Despite the loss, Lebanon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kyle Noud posted 15 points. Deion Washington was another key player, putting up ten points.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Marissa/Coulterville, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

Everything came up roses for Marissa/Coulterville against Lebanon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-43 win. Will Marissa/Coulterville repeat their success, or does Lebanon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
