Basketball Recap: Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack vs. Hallandale Chargers
Schoolhouse Prep lost against Hallandale back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack fell to the Hallandale Chargers 61-55. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Schoolhouse Prep still got an impressive performance from Hector Samaniego, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Samaniego's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Marco Castro, who posted eight points.
Isaiah Lawson was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 20 on his way to 29 points and seven assists for Hallandale. The dominant performance gave Lawson a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Walter Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Schoolhouse Prep now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Hallandale, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Schoolhouse Prep and Hebrew Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hebrew Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Schoolhouse Prep likes a good challenge. As for Hallandale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-39 defeat against Miramar on the 11th.
