LaProgresiva Presbyterian took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Edison Private Eagles by a score of 45-35. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaProgresiva Presbyterian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lazaro Echevarria, who posted 11 points. Alexy Valdez was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 14 boards and five assists.

Looking ahead, LaProgresiva Presbyterian will square off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Edison Private, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sheridan Hills Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 8.
