Southwest had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Roughriders, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: Elgin/Pope John scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Kyra Nelms paced Southwest's offense, picking up 27 kills. Nelms got some help from Aspen Billeter and her 32 assists. Bellamie Stritt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Southwest's record is now 28-5. As for Elgin/Pope John, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 21-11.

As of now, neither Southwest nor the Wolfpack have any future games scheduled.
