Volleyball Recap: Peyton Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Peyton challenged Swink on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-18.

Samantha Nickell paced Peyton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nickell got some help from Cassidy Miller and her 11 assists.

Peyton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Swink, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Peyton has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sargent on the 25th. As for Swink, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Fowler on the 28th.
