Eaton Rapids waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Lakewood Vikings get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 on Tuesday.

Kalli Ordiway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

In other batting news, Abi Pratt was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Brooke Depeel was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Eaton Rapids hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.

Eaton Rapids pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lakewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
