Wabash scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Northwestern Tigers by a score of 51-49. The loss leaves the Apaches without a win on the season.

Wabash lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Baldwin, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Baldwin a new career-high in points. Gage Schiebel-Simon also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Northwestern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bradyn Wilson led the charge by going 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Landen Begley, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Northwestern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Wabash will square off against Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Northwestern, they will face off against Southwood at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st.
