Volleyball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against Reedy, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Reedy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-13, 25-9.

Paige Hawkinson was nothing short of spectacular for Reedy: she had 20 assists and nine aces. Those nine aces gave Hawkinson a new career-high. Lexi North also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Reedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Turner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Wakeland on the 24th. As for Reedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Highland Park on the 24th.
