Hartselle barely beat Brewer the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

Brenna McReath paced Hartselle's offense, picking up 16 kills. McReath got some help from Maddy Johnson and her 30 assists. Finally, McReath was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Hartselle's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Brewer, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-9.

Hartselle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Muscle Shoals on the 23rd. As for Brewer, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against East Limestone on the 22nd.
