Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lincoln entered their tilt with Jefferson on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

The victory didn't come easy: Jefferson scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Lincoln had a senior duo take command as Hayden Kok had 14 digs and two aces and Julia Blom had 13 digs and six assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Kok.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will face off against rival Brookings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
