Basketball Recap: Rapid City Christian Gets the Win

Rapid City Christian's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They snuck past the Freeman Flyers with a 59-55 win.

Despite the loss, Freeman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rylee Peters posted 23 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards. Peters' afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reeslyn Hofer, who scored nine points.

Rapid City Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Freeman, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rapid City Christian has already played their next contest (against Custer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Freeman has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Canistota.
