Basketball Recap: Lewis Central Takes a Loss

Lewis Central lost against Harlan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lewis Central Titans fell 63-51 to the Harlan Cyclones. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewis Central now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Harlan, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Lewis Central will welcome Glenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewis Central is facing Glenwood at the right time seeing as Glenwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harlan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Atlantic likes a good challenge.
