Basketball Game Preview: Rowlett Eagles vs. North Garland Raiders

The Rowlett Eagles will face off against the North Garland Raiders at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rowlett saw some tournament action on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 84-47 loss at the hands of Crowley. While losing is never fun, Rowlett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 566th, while Crowley is ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, North Garland came up short against Lone Star on Thursday, falling 90-65. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Garland's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Rowlett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Rowlett didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against North Garland when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. Will Rowlett repeat their success, or does North Garland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
