Tapestry had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 76-42 victory over the East Panthers. The win continues a trend for the Thunderhawks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why East lost on Monday, don't look at Tendai Furbert. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Luesean Brown was another key player, putting up two points and six rebounds.
