Preview: Ridgeland vs. Center Hill
The Ridgeland Titans will face off against the Center Hill Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeland's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ridgeland walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Conquistadors a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Jose Pinto Marquez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Ridgeland.
In what's become a running theme this season, Center Hill gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over Columbus. The result kept Center Hill happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 16, 2023.
Ridgeland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-6 record this season. As for Center Hill, their win bumped their record up to 15-2-1.
